Bogus fault codes??? 850 1994

Hi Mike:

I'll have to take a look and see if I can find the EGR valve. A few months ago we had a pretty uneven idle, and I gave the idle control valve a thorough cleaning. It was almost seized, and there was quite a big improvment, and I'd say the idle is quite smooth now.

As for the mixture problem, I will have to stop by our local indy Volvo mechanic, who seems like an OK guy, as I have neither the Volvo scan tool nor a substitute MAF sensor.

Thanks again for the advice, and if you ever decide to try an Alfa Romeo and need some advice, be sure to look me up.

Regards,

Dean
