Yes, it is adjustable. But you won't like it. Just infront of the handle where the cable connects, is a plastic screw/nut combo. The bad thing is being able to look at it, shine a light on it and reach it with two wrenches, all while kneeling on the ground with your head stuck under the brake pedal.
Summer is more fun. Why not try spraying WD40 on the latch mechanism behind the bumper for now?
