Tick Tick noise 850

Hello,
Is this tick, tick, tick, scary and annoying noise in the cold morning start have something to do with the lifters or fuel pressure regulator? (15mg city -19mpg hwy) If it's the injectors, i tried to put in a fuel additive (S1 Redline) and still doing that noise esp. when real cold in the am? I hope it's not the valve. Should i switch to synthetic blend oil or fully synthetic?
