Hood release lever/cable V70-XC70 1998

Thanks Jot, I tried this and it worked. However, it does lower the hood slightly so that it not quite flush with the fender anymore when shut. But it can stay like that 'til summer when I can get down on the ground to take a look at that adjusting cable. As Klaus mentioned, it looks to be a pain to reach.
