XC90 - Bab Choice ??? XC90 2004

I would like to mention my fustration on purchasing the XC90 2.5, Was this a bad choice or is it just bad luck. Since I received the car in October 2004, I had nothing but problems ( no Engine problems, Yuppi ?? ) the right side spring or gaurd rail( something in that area) was already replaced. It was making a loud thumb, The leather seats were dis colouring were replaced, Wiper in the back changed, and again not working, car makes a metal grinding noise when I put in rear ( every so often and except when I bring it to Volvo) still can't find the problem...When it's cold outside( Canada MTL) the car makes craking noises when braking even after the car is warmed up( very scary my Dodge2000 doesn't( 1/2 price $$$...DSTC light always on when accelereating on snow, car starter installed (what a mistake) ( though i instaled one on the Dodge work great,4 years now ??) changed twice still doesn't work properly, the rear transmition seal leaking and replaced after 15 000KM, Anyway, I could go on a little longer. Is this a car that can last forever, or at least another 10 years, should I deal with the problems or sale it. Will their be more bigger problems to come ??? Should have stuck with the S80 ??????
Thanks for listening
Tony
