Transmission shot? 850 1995

wow, this is freaky, my wife just had the exact same thing with her 96 855T last week in Target parking lot. No Rev, she got it into drive, drove to end of parking lot and stopped after some loud crunching. Dealer and my indie say new trannie, these units are just too complicated to bother repairing. Anyway, more to the point, figure what monthly payments are on a new car and maybe you'll see the logic of fixing and keeping something that has alreday gone thru depreciation hit. As long as the car is not suffering from cancer rot, like most cars here in Buffalo, bite the bullet, put the emotions aside, and fix an otherwise good car.
