No heat when outside temp below 10 degrees F 850 1996

Another vote for thermostat. Should be considered regular maintenance item. If you got over 80,000 mile on it change it. I strongly suggest stopping by Sears to get a Torx bit set for your socket wrench, it will come in handy for this and more. I think the thermstat requires a T-40 bit. You can do in driveway, takes 15-20 minutes if you take a break. you'll spill about a cup of antifreeze so you might want to put a pan under the car if that concerns you. I use the non-toxic antifreeze so I don't mind a little spill.
