upper strut brace

The Volvo instructions that come with the brace are fairly comprehensive and include all the torque wrench settings for all the nuts and bolts. (Sorry, but I can't find mine! It's been 7 years!) The 6 conical nuts on the strut towers are one-way, and are NOT to be re-used! I couldn't get a torque wrench on one conical nut, the one under the fuse box, and that setting I guessed at. Yes, the brace is installed with the car sitting flat on a level surface and should not need to be re-aligned unless you screw something up. The setup also makes it very difficult to get to the cabin air filter ("WTF were they thinking???") so I'd put in a fresh one before starting.
