abs modulator leak 850

The dealer quoted $2100.00 Canadian for the abs modulator assembly, plus labor to install.I am looking into rebuilt units from the USA, hoping to pay 500-750.00 US dollars. I can get a used one from the boneyard for 800.00 canadian $.Until I decide which route to take, I am keeping brake fluid on board and topping up when the light goes on.It has been leaking for about 3 months, seeems to be better with the cold weather.I have also read that this is just another typical volvo rip your heart out expense, and commom on models with traction control.
