Thermostat replacement is easy.......... 850 1996

Note the use of the long torx bit, you need that long torx bit to do the job right (bought my set at Autozone; Sears has it too).

But take the opportunity to :

1. Change coolant as well. The drain cock for the radiator is at the bottom of the radiator. Use a allen key to drain it.

2. I bought thermostat from FCP Groton for $14.00
The rubber O-ring is all you need (NO need for thermostat housing gasket).

PS: Personally I'd not change the temp sensor as this item lasts a long time.
