battery life S40-V40

Anyone know the life expectancy of the OEM battery? I've used my S40 as a daily driver for 5 years and I'm thinking of changing the battery, even though it's still working fine, as a proactive precautionary measure rather than waiting for the car not starting due to a dead battery and getting a tow.
