buying an S-40...is stepping down

First off.. the 240 doesnt fit my definition of powerful. :-)
The S-70 is my wife's and is not going away.
The 98 Jetta VR6 wil be my son's upon graduation.
The 83 rabbit hybred was a great father son project and is a
minimalist car.. it is bare bones although street legal it is
built for the track.

The S-40 is under consideration for me. It will give DAS bus
a break from being driven daily as it is 30+ years old now.
Having said that... thanks a lot for your input!
