3rd row seat not locking in place 850 1996

The 3rd row seat is NOT locking into place with the second row seats. There is a long "finger", with seration, that protrudes out of the 3rd row and slides into a slot on the rear of the 2rd row seatbacks. However, the platic slot in the rear of the 2nd row seat simply comes out of the hole. I think the plastic part that goes into the hole is broken. Anybody have any experience with this problem?
