radiator leak should i use some stop leak stuff ? 850

I am having a leak apparently in my passengerside radiator. and cant really dick around with the vehicle becuase its to cold out and such. so I was wondering if that stop leak stuff for radiators would be a good route to take ? i know people dont really reccoment additives to the oil so im wondering about this. thanks for the replys.
