When to replace timing belt V70-XC70 2000

I recently purchased a 2000 V70XC with 63,000 miles. What is the recomended mileage for changeing the timeing belt? ( Dealer told me 105,000 miles. )And what else needs to be done now to avoid costly problems in the near future? This is my first Volvo. Nice car and I would like to keep it that way.
