ETM Replacement (Eletronic Throttle Module)

You installed (QTY 2?) Electronic Throttle Module? I would read that as quantity 2, and that's obviously not what you mean since there is only one ETM. Okay, so you have VADIS, and WSDA, and the VCT2000 with all of its related cables. The download is part # 9438290; Replace software in ETM (Electronic Throttle Module) $30.00; was the download complete? or did it stop midstream? On occasion I have had the problem with the download not being completed since the software apparently upgrades the ECM and the CEM since they all "talk" together. If it can't establish the communication with one of the other modules, the download stops, and then the fun begins...

You purchased a new ETM? With the same part number? I had one customer bring in an obviously previously replaced ETM (yellow), purchased as used from a salvage yard, which we know had to have had the software download or the car wouldn't have left the yard to be wrecked. However, it wouldn't work on the car until we installed a software upgrade.

I'd start a help thread with volvotechinfo, get a credit on the download, and start over...

Hope this helps,

Chris
