Interpret code P0326 knock sensor 1 circuit range/performance (bank 1 or single sensor) 850 1994

I have a 94 850 turbo wagon with 31000 miles on it (yes, you read right only 31000 original miles) that I recently bought from a family member.

The check engine light showed up two days ago, and it's still on. THe car runs fine, even though I might be getting worse gas milage. I took it to a Midas shop where they scanned it for free and they got the code "P0326 knock sensor 1 circuit range/performance (bank 1 or single sensor)", but they didn't know how what it means.
I'd like to know the meaning of this code and if this is something I can fix myselft or if I have to go to the volvo dealer.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
