2001 V70 XC towable? V70-XC70 2001

We are in the process of purchasing a 2001 V70XC. We need to know if it can be towed on its own wheels. We have a motorhome & would like to use it as our tow-car.

We have read the owners manual, and it states that the car "must be towed on all four wheels, and a minimum (not maximum) of 80km." This is quite different to the vehicles more commonly used, therefore we are unsure that it is accurate.

Any information would be helpful.
