S70 Performance models? S70 1998

I fully understand your desire for a performance S70. Mine is a 1998 S70 T-5 with 90k miles and it's been a good car. Last year I took care of a long list of cosmetic and technical repairs and improvements which cost over $4k.
The S70 is a strong daily driver and a durable car. To enjoy the performance and safety of these cars you will need an operating budget. However, my vehicle has already been depreciated, so the cost of repairs still looks like an inexpensive way to motor around.

I plan to keep mine for as long as I can keep it looking like new!

You will pay under $10k for a used 1998 S70. I suggest you keep a couple of thousand in hand for repairs...and you won't have a problem.

One important note...you will need a good tech to help you. My local tech drives the same car as I do and we compare notes often. Without him, my S70 would be a less attractive proposition.

Clive.
