Sway bar links? S80

Turn the steering fully left and look behind the right wheel. There you will see a 30 cm long rod between the sway bar beneath the subframe and a mount half way up on the shock absorber. You can check for slop by putting a hand on the ball links on each end while rocking the car slightly.
It is quite easy to replace them, you need a ring spanner and an open end spanner to hold the ball link bolt on the opposite side while unscrewing the nut. The newer links have an internal torx on the nut side instead. Can be held with a torx bit and a spanner... Check how to route the ABS-wiring before removing the old one.
If you lift one side of the car there will be tension in the sway bar making the job difficult so its better either to lift both sides or let the car stand on the wheels.
The links seems to last longer if the boots are sealed with grease before mounting
