S70 CD-CHANGER QUESTION! S70

Hey brickboarders. I recently installed an SC-901 In-Dash CD changer w/ a 400 watt Volvo amplifier into my 1998 S70. The in-dash CD changer is now a little on the fritz, and after some personal maintenance, I elected to buy an additional CD changer (which I got at an extraordinary deal!). It is a brand new CD changer, and my S70 already has the circular type DIN cable in it that the CD changer uses to connect to the Volvo head unit. What I DON'T understand, is what the other plug (or lead) on the CD changer does...A yellow and black cable was included with some funny plugs on the ends (1 end has a blue plug, the other end has 2 grey plugs...sort of square in shape). I know my way around Volvo audio systems, but this CD changer has me rather confused! Could anyone give me any insight as to what the other plug, or this strange cable functions in the system? Thanks to all for any help!

-steve
