just bought a new 850 850 1997

It's new to me anyways. I've been a dedicated 200 driver for 6 years and have just made the jump to front wheel drive Volvos. I went to a dealer auction with my Father and got a sweet deal on a 97 GLT. The owner was selling it because the turbo leaks a little oil and "there's something else wrong with the front". You'd think being a car dealer he would know that the front shocks were bad....I guess not. Anyways, I replaced the shocks and replaced the drain pipe seal with a kit from IPD and the car is a beauty. There is a tiny dent that needs to be pulled in the hood and the bumper could use some paint because it has faded to grey. The best part about the car is that it cost me $2600 because the owner thought he was getting rid of a lemon. With the shocks and drain pipe seal I've spent maybe $2850 on a car that has just rolled over to 100k. I'll post pictures soon. I just basically wanted to say hi because I'm a stranger in the 850 boards and I look forward to my experience with FWD Volvos.
