Since you are aware of the ABS and ETS module failures, then it doesn't make sense to trade to an older car.

You have been lucky and the car might go a few more thousand miles before these modules fail, maybe not.

Keep the car if is in otherwise good shape and you have done good maintenance. It will be cheaper to keep a newer car than to go to an older one.
