creaking noise, still, from the passenger side S70 1998

first, had an awful creaking noises (like squeaky bed springs)
from the passenger side. replaced the struts only to
find that the noise was dampened about 95-90%. i still
hear that creaking sound at low speeds and slight bumps.
any suggestions? strut mount? control arm? anyone have this occurence?
i would greatly appreciate any info. i hate the dealerships and don't
trust some things they tell me.
