POWER WINDOW SWITCH 850 1994

There is nothing new about the rocker switches that they use in the 850, must be why they still go bad like the old ones, but the are soldered in. Instead of the round barrel and pin connectors like you would find in the 900 series cars the wires are soldered right onto the pins so it makes servicing it a pain in the butt. However, should you decide to take it apart and try to fix it I have found that Radio Shack make a fiberglass sanding pen that works great on them. It is nothing more than a rod of fiberglass that is mounted into a plastic pen. Take the tip of it and use it to sand the contact points clean inside of the switch, put it all back together and you should be good to go.
