wiring harness S70 1999

I am thinking "NO". Where did the harness break, in theory? and which computer?? A 1999 is the first year of the drive by wire; is this a Volvo shop? with VADIS? Could they just be clueless? I'm searching my memory banks, we've only done a few rear mains on 99+ cars, and I can't recall there being too many connections.

Margaret Thatcher through Lucas (yes, Volvo purchases Lucas electricals) to the wolves in 1989, and said...NO more government stipends; no more contracts; your stuff is crap, sink or swim...and so, in 1990, the harnesses got better...a 1999 brittle harness? my butt!!! I have yet to replace a harness on anything newer than 1989; I've replaced MUCH wiring in connectors because the polybutyl crap falls apart; I've replaced cracked and brittle connectors...but that's about it.

Someone made a boo boo...and it's their baby...not yours.

Chris
