loose connector 850

Another common cause of an ABS light on, besides the module failure, is a loose connector.

When I removed my unit to send to Victor, I noticed that the connector at the ABS module was pretty loose.

There is a TSB that talks about a loose connection and as a probable cause of ABS light coming on, when there were no codes.

Vadis mentions the TSB and shows a picture how to use a plastic tie to secure that connector snuggly.

If you visit volvospeed.com, do a search on ABS module failures. I just posted a picture about a week ago, how to wrap the tie around module and connector.
