PCV 850

Hi Pat,

If the PCV system is clogged, it will cause engine seals to be come unseated and you will leak oil. As far as the blow-by is concerned, work rings would probably be causing that.

I've never heard of a clogged PCV system causing blow-by, but that is not to say it could not happen.

Taking care of the PCV system on a turbo is not something I am familiar with, but that being said, I would think $800 is a bit high. If you're comfortable taking apart your intake, and removing the intake manifold, you should be able to get to most of the PCV "plumbing" to take care of it.
