Is the right light OK? If so. how about swapping the bulbs?

That would tell you weather the problem was the bulb or the light.

I suggest that you do not try to clean the reflector.

You could park some distance from a wall in the dark and see if you can see the difference.

A bad or dirty connector is a possibility.
