Can Anyone help with this problem? 850 1996

I have a 1996 850R with 155,000 miles on it. At about 140,000 the head was removed, new valves and valve seals were fitted to cure high oil consumption (which it did). Unfortunately since then the rear cam seal has leaked, it has been replaced now for the third time by my indpendent Volvo dealer and yet it still leaks, he tried repositioning it the last time and it still leaks. I am concerned about the effect of these leaks on the timing belt and he is at his wits end trying to cure this problem.
Has anyone heard of or experienced this problem?
John Scales.
