so are the 2001+ FWD Volvos okay?

My '98 eventually turned out OK, it was so bad during the first 50,000 miles that I bought the extended warranty out to 100,000 miles.

But the 100k extended warranty turned into a barely break-even proposition.

From 100,000 miles on up it's been pretty good ... well, pretty good for a car with a bazillion miles on the clock!

All that said, when I do get a V70R, I'm probably gonna lease it and turn it back in at the end of the lease. I do not want to be responsible for one of these puppies without a warranty!
