'Start Prevented' 'Try Again' XC90 2005

At least Volvo is going in the right direction. Us guys in "older" cars just get a check engine light with a no start condition :( At least yours tell you something. I like the 'Try again' part! It's too bad they haven't changed the design of the gas cap to let us know if it is really tight or not. Having too many keys/junk on the key chain also should not prevent/break the ingition switch either. I guess I am just a minimalist with one car key and a house key on my key chain, with 5 cars this means I have a peg board with 5 sets of keys and no magnets.
I wish more dealers are like yours "I don't have a lot of confidence in my dealership. From what I have read they run diagnostics on the car and if they don't find anything they don't do anything......." Most of them start replacing parts until they happen to find the bad one, all of this at our cost of course. Regardless of the cost of the car when new, no one should have to learn the service advisor's first name, nor should anyone at the dealership remember your name on sight except for the salesman.
