transmission har to shift S80

Remember Bill, who had the dealer flatbed his car to Appleton, Wis. because it had a hard time shifting in to 4th. No codes, nothing? Well he got his car back:

"Picked the car up today. Everything checked out ok at the dealer. The car must be at the operating temp. before the 4th gear works like it does in my Cadddy. Like you said I have plenty of warranty left. Question: it seem that the T6 has a lot more problems than the S80 non turbo, is this correct. Do you know if their is some information that will tell me the RPM vs. MPH for S80 non turbo automatic transmission with factory wheels? I would like to know what it should be at 40 thru 80 MPH.

Thanks,
Bill"

Yep, when it is cold outside - below zero - even with the car in a garage at 35F, my cars don't want to shift either. That's when I wish I could switch off the tranny cooler! You poor folks in FL don't get to experience the invigorating fresh air which causes the nose hairs to freeze and the seat warmers to feel soooo good,

Klaus
