How to replace Fuel Sending Unit 850 1987

I got a new (well, used) fuel sending unit and want to replace mine (which is dead). I see only one cover on the trunk floor, thi smust be for the fuel pump. Do I have to drop the tank or there is anither hatch somewhere?
