Very Weak Ignition Spark 850

I have replaced both O2 sensors and the spark plug wires and now the spark is so weak that it will not fire under compression. I checked this using starting fluid and i can not get it to fire at all.. If i put a spark plug wire direct from the coil to the #5 cyl and use starting fluid it will fire.. So it looks like the spark is so weak that it looses enough when going through the distributer cap and rotor (both almost new) and under compression that it will not spark the plugs. It will fire them if they are out of the cylinders.. Directily from the coil it will only spark about 1/4 of an inch at best to ground..
Why would the spark be weak all the sudden?? The O2 sensors, or the coil, or the Power Stage, located near the coil???? What does it do????

Any Ideas

Thanks
