Volvo V40 Rear Wiper S40-V40 2001

Now that it has rained a lot - I am find the rear wiper very handy. However, I am really IRKED by the REAR wiper of my V40. The PROBLEM is the wiper misses the top half the rear window. Thinking it is just a bad wiper, I investigated further. I appears as if the wiper arm does not apply enough pressure to the wiper assembly as it is sweeping toward the 12 o'clock position... therefore, missing the upper half of the convex window. Does anyone else experience this problem or is it just me? I see the wiper is made by Bosch - so I presume it is the original. The solution appears to be a customized wiper frame that is taller than the standard type. Anyone have any solutions?
