How Long Should a CV Boot Last? 850 1993

I agree that boots should last for a long time. I have 162000 on my volvo, and the boots have not been replaced. I check them out whenever I do an oil change. The car has been in Michigan its whole life as well.

Some cars go thru boots, but I think Volvos are holding up well. I would replace this part with OEM if at all possible. Aftermarket may look the same but not have the same quality. If it doesn't last, what's the point?
