Best source for 850 tailgate struts? 850

Did you try loosening & adjusting the front ball mount (2 12mm bolts) to give you the needed length? If so, sorry.
Aftermarket struts are not exactly the exact same dimensions as original volvo, but they are less $$ and normally do fit.
