After I put the sensor in and drove the car around the block, the check engine light is still on, albeit the ABS control sensor is still blinking--so I know it's working. I was told by the mechanic that just the front sensor was bad..I replaced it and the abs control unit which was bad as well, and installed both with the battery disconnected. After connecting the battery, like I said, the engine check light is still on. Will it take time for the computer to adjust before the light goes off, or will I need to have a mechanic reset the computer?

Thanks
