rear wiper washer 850

Hi,
Water does nto come out in my wagon's rear wiper washer. I tried to check if the washer spout is clogged by using a needle. next it i pryed open the check valve near the tailgate pillar or i would say rear speakers. How would i know if the check valves are working properly? I can hear the washer motor making a humming sound but no water comes out?
