S80 cam timing, variable cam timing S80 1999

hi,
from memory the cams are timmed by a special tool that fits into slots that are on the rear end of each cam and holds them in place, the engine should be timed up using the marks on the crank sprocket at the same time, then with the cam setting tool in place you would tighten the bolts that lock the cam sprockets to the cams...it may sound easy but it can be a bit of a mission to do and everything has to be bang on or it wont be right. hope this helps.
steve.
