Coolant Drain V70-XC70 2001

I have 70,000 miles and thought it would need to be replaced.

I think the total volume is about 7.4 qts.

I talked to the Volvo service dept and they confirmed there is no petcock on the back of the engine, only underneath the radiator.

They said to drain everything you can out of the petcock, close petcock, fill with water, run engine to operating temperature, open petcock and keep adding water until it turns clear, then turn engine off, let the fluid come out of the petcock, close petcock and then fill with new antifreeze.
