Dave: no problem, though (a) cut your nails first & (b) have a torch handy.
The cover on the outer headlamp unit is plastic and fits INSIDE the mounting, and not over it. Unscew about 1/4 turn, and remove. Awkward - little room here.
Bulb is the acessible, and easy to renew. With daylight running lights, the h/lamp bulbs take some stick: I have replaced 3 in 37,000 miles, but it is an invaluable safety feature so I ain't moaning!
