Hi Geoff, For LEDs you can check www.digikey.com they will have hundreds of them. If you are lucky you will be able to get a part number off of the LED that you remove, if not, they are all pretty much the same if the package is the same, they make more light if you put more current in them. Since the current is controlled by a resistor that you won't be replacing, that won't be a problem. Be aware that LEDs must be put in in the proper orientation, if it is in backward, it won't work (no damage though).
