ETS Question S70 2000

Bought a 2000 S70 with 70,000 miles. The records show the ETS was replaced at 48,000. The car has a low presure turbo. How long do these electronic control modules last? I'm I going to have to replace this every 30 or 40 thousand miles? How can I tell the make of the new module and if it will last?
