2001 v70 throttle body replacement-twice?

We had the throttle body replaced about 10 months ago, at the end of last week the service light came on and the car has very similiar symptoms as the time when the throttle body was replaced -- very rough idle at a stop (so much so the whole car shakes), fume smell . . . Anyone had to replace the throttle body more than once? Any thoughts, suggestions? We found this site after purchasing this model -- wish we had found it earlier! Our decision would probably have been different. Thanks for your input.
