A/C problem - 1998 S70

I just noticed that you have 2 1998's. You better learn about AC. The two lines on the pass side that go thru the fire wall, one has an electrical connection on it. About 6in from the firewall, just unclip it when the engine is running and the AC is on with the temp set to coldest. Take a spare piece of wire and conect the two ends of the pressure sensor. The AC clutch should start. Reconect the switch.
If the clutch works, add a can of r134a. Buy yourself a pressure gauge and all you need to do then is check the pressure once on a while. It should cycle between 43 and 23 psi. The connection is on the pass side, just infront of the computer box. The plastic cap is there to keep dirt out. Make sure it stays clean.
I have yet to see a Volvo keep AC pressure.
