transmission problem on '01??? V70-XC70 2001

I am used to the good old RWD 2.3 unkillable bricks. Purchase a used T5 V70 2001 2 years ago from a Volvo dealership. Good thing I have a warranty that terminates in May of this year. Last week, I brought the car in for 4 days, under warranty, Volvo has replace the ETM and the...air conditionning compressor. I have the car back for 4 days now and last night, while moving the car in the driveway, I was shock to notice a "Transmission service required" message. In Drive, seems like it is stuck in 4th or 5th gear or something. The car hardly moves. I will bring it back to the dealer this week. If the transmission is gone(?, than I feel bless by the amazing timing of this major expense being still cover by a warranty that is just ending in a month or so. The car has 100 000km, not such a high millage for a 2001. Though, I not sure if I trust the car anymore. I have this feeling where this thing will end costing me thousands of dollars within a few years. was there really a transmission problem with this car? How is the V70 T5 reliability so far? Should I get rid of it? Im not sure anymore. I love the car but...
