Intermitten ABS Warning Light 850

The light on and off intermittenly. Sometimes it lit right from when I start the engin sometimes only after I drove it. It also sometimes turn off while driving. My indy told me that the ABS computer needs to be replace. Any idea what could be the problem? Sensors? Computer? How do I check or pinpoint the problem.
