fuel pump fuse

it blows because too much current is drawn. could result from:
- short in wiring
- fuel pump drawing loading down

if the filter is clogged (easy change), the pump may work too hard. more than likely though your pump is going bad. do you drive alot with low fuel levels? you you fill up at the last minute? this accelerates fuel pump age since it's cooled by immersion in fuel. but, i think yours is at the end of it natural lifetime. most post i see for failed pumps are 100-125K.

better order one now! when the pump does fail, you will have to be towed. i have 102K on my 1995 850 and after reading the posts of FP failures, I just ordered one from Groton for $195. im not waiting around. BTW, chnage the relay and fuel filter too!
